CRM objects are linked to multiple tools in HubSpot, including the Payments Object. Enhance your HubSpot Payments experience by automating commerce processes and internal processes using the workflow tool.
How does it work?
Navigate to Automation and then click on workflows.
To create a payments workflow, in the upper right corner, click on “Create Workflow” and then from Scratch.
In the left panel, select [object]-based to select your workflow object and select “Payments” and then your workflow type (blank workflow or schedule).
Use Cases for Payments-Based Workflows
Here are a few examples of how you can integrate the payments object with your workflows:
- Send an automated email to contacts who fill out a payment form reminding them to complete the transaction step
- Notify customers when their payment is processed and received
- Assign tasks to an onboarding representative after payment is collected
- Notify customers and customer service representatives of a failed payment
- Send an automated notification to customers when they are refunded
- Notify account executives when a customer fills out a payments meeting link for cross-selling opportunities

- Sync payments collected in HubSpot to your Quickbooks Online account using QuickBooks workflow actions
- Automatically create paid invoices and sales receipts in QuickBooks as you receive new payments in HubSpot
