How to sort reports to show highest to lowest?

We’re currently updating our reporting to move away from manually tallying data based on reports to show performance. I want to set it so that reports can display in order Highest - Lowest based on number fields.
In one example, for our MTD reporting I have created a pivot table using the Custom Report Builder, that displays SR performance using a custom deal property called “Number of Venues”. I can create the report to show the numbers I need but seem unable to set it to display this data with the SR with the highest number at the top, SR with the lowest at the bottom etc.
Any help on how to achieve this would be appreciated.

Hi @RLewis51,

Can you please share a screenshot of your report configuration? (see screenshot below)

Best regards!

Hi @karstenkoehler for this report it’s setup as follows:

Currently filtered also by date using a date field called “Reached Closed Won” to show data for deals reaching that stage after 30/11/22 but we use multiple variations of date filters depending on which report.
Thanks

Hi @RLewis51,

I don’t have a good explanation why it’s that way but you need to click the pencil icon for Sales Rep column, not the column you want to sort, and choose the sorting settings there.

Best regards!

Hi @karstenkoehler
That’s done exactly what I needed it to, thank you. I would guess because the Sum (Number of Venues) is a value rather than a column/row, that’s why I couldn’t rearrange the table itself using it.
Thanks again!
