How to setup teams with multiple members that can differ per Team

Hi All,

We are setting up Hubspot as our new CRM system, but are running into some difficulties reagrding teams.

For example we have 4 teams, France, Germany, UK, USA
The following persons are active, I will name then A, B, C and D

They are put in in teams and will be done as followed:

France = A + B
Germany = A + C

UK = A

USA = B + C

Now I would like that people can only see their teams info and details, so I adjust the right structure and make sure that for example B can see only France and USA, C can see only Germany and USA and A can only see France, Germany and UK.

How is this possible to setup in Hubspot?

As I run in a bit of trouble as there can be only 1 main team member.
And the assigning of contact or company is done based on Hubspot team, which is selected by main team member or team member.

I would aprriaciate any help!

You can create separate teams for France, Germany, UK, and USA within HubSpot. And configure permissions such that team members can only view information associated with their respective teams. This ensures that A can only see information related to France, Germany, and UK, B can only see information related to France and USA, and C can only see information related to Germany and USA.

Thank you for the reply.
The issue is that when for instannce person B creates a contact, but the company is in France, the Hubspot team that is selected is autoamtically the USA, as this is the main member.

This would be solved if you you can setup people multiple times as main member.

As for some countries multiple persons are main contact.
For example:

France = A(main) + B(extra)
Germany = A(extra) + C (main)

UK = A (main)

USA = B (main) + C (extra)

I’m afraid this isn’t going to work, because record ownership follows the user, and in every case all of your team members are on teams together.

The way this feature works is that if I am a member of the team, I should be able to see the other team members’ records, so in this case.

A Can see records owned by B and C.

B Can see records owned by A and C

C Can see records owned by A and B

In other words, everyone can see everything. In order for this to work as you intend, you would have to have users that aren’t on teams with each other.

B Can see the USA and France

C Can see the USA and
