Hi,
I’m on a Free HubSpot account and I’m trying to set up a URL redirect so my new homepage is used.
What I want to do
I want visitors who go to https://www.zinclabsllc.net/ to be redirected to https://www.zinclabsllc.net/home (a redirect from / to /home on www.zinclabsllc.net).
What I see in Domains & URLs
Under Settings → Website → Domains & URLs → Domains I see:
- Tabs at the top: Domains / Language Settings / Sitemap / Custom SSL (no “URL Redirects” tab visible).
- My domain is connected and secure. It shows:
- Redirected domains section shows:
- zinclabsllc-[hubID].hs-sites-na2.com → [hubID].hs-sites-na2.com
home-[hubID].hs-sites-na2.com → www.zinclabsllc.net
Moderation note: The HubSpot Community is a public space. I have therefore edited your content for security & confidentiality reasons.
Hi @CSingh1982 and welcome, it’s a pleasure to have you here!
Thanks for asking the HubSpot Community!
To start with, I’d recommend going through these resources:
- Create and manage URL redirects
- Understand the effects of downgrading a paid HubSpot subscription
- Change content URLs
Also, I’d love to put you in touch with our Top Experts: Hi @danmoyle, @TomM2 and @himanshurauthan do you have some insights to share with @CSingh1982, please?
Thanks so much and have a lovely day!

Welcome to HubSpot and the Community @CSingh1982! I first want to confirm that we’re on the same page. On a free HubSpot account, the URL Redirects feature is available under Domains & URLs, but it is only accessible if you are on a plan that includes CMS tools (which the free “Starter” CMS plan does include). Do you have those hubs and tiers?
Now for the instructions (take from HubSpot Knowledge Base resources).
How to add a redirect from / to /home. Once the URL Redirects tab is visible, here are the steps:
- In Settings → Website → Domains & URLs, click the URL Redirects tab.
- Click Add URL redirect.
- Choose Standard redirect (since this is a simple path change).
- Enter:
- Make sure the domain dropdown is set to www.zinclabsllc.net.
- Click Add URL redirect, then wait a few minutes for it to propagate.
Result: Anyone going to https://www.zinclabsllc.net/ will be 301‑redirected to https://www.zinclabsllc.net/home.
Here’s an optional cleanup tip, too. You can set /home as your published homepage. To avoid confusion, edit your /home page in the HubSpot CMS and make sure:
- It is set as the website page for www.zinclabsllc.net.
- Any other page currently set as / (or “default homepage”) is either deleted or unpublished.
If HubSpot still warns about “a page already exists at /”, check for any archived or unpublished pages at the root and remove them.
Hopefully that helps get you to your goal!
