I want my knowledge base to have the same domain as my website, but I’m not given that option.
Is there any way to set a knowledge base domain to the same domain as your website? If not, is there any way to set a knowledge base domain to a subdomain that is the same as your website?
It seems crazy that my only option is a hubspot provided domain. That isn’t a realistic option.

Unless you are using HubSpot to host your website, you can not host the HubSpot knowledge base on the same domain, it’s simply not possible.
You can however create and connect sub-subdomains as outlined in this article. You will be promted to select what you creating a domain for, should look like this:
Once a knowledge base domain has been connected you can select it in the knowledge base settings.
