Hello community! This is my first post so be gentle
I was wondering if there is a method for resetting overall engagement after testing a form? I would like to 0 out the metrics so that the non-design Marketing team members can get their data without my junk emails and names thrown in.
Any suggestions? I couldn’t find it after searching around the community. My current planned workaround is to clone the form, then delete the test one.
Thanks in advance! - Ben
Hi @BenMerryman, welcome to the community! We’re so glad to have you here!
To answer your question, I don’t believe there is a way to clear the test metrics on your form. I’d recommend following your gut and cloning the form once you’ve completed your tests and are happy with the functionality. To your point, I’d delete the test form as to not cause confusion or clutter in your portal.
I love that you’re being so mindful of the experience for your non-design Marketing team members and ensuring they have the cleanest data possible.
Hope this helps!
I’ve found that cloning a form doesn’t actually clone the workflow actions, so it needs to be set up again and then tested to prove it works, and then the whole cloning is required again to reset the stats. Then repeat this cycle.. again and again…
I think it’s an either/or situation for Hubspot;
EITHER create the ability to “preview”, “test”, whatever, like other platforms, so we can see actual email layout and testing attachement links, etc.
OR
create a “reset” stats button to kill the invalid stat accumulation from testing…
Thanks for consideration!
I guess that works for me! I wish there was a “draft” vs “published” state for previewing how something works without needing to manually “reset” by cloning the form / CTA. Thanks for the quick answer! Marked as Accepted
Does somebody know, if there is a post about this in the idea forum, which can be upvoted?
