How to minimize unsubscribes from Sales One-to-One emails if I move to HubSpot Marketing

Hi!

We use

  • MailChimp for our mass email webinar invites and monthly newsletter for 100K subscribers
  • HubSpot Marketing for engaged lead email automation; very personal and targeted
  • HubSpot SALES for our CRM and for targeted outbound lead gen campaigns (from sales reps).

We are negotiating and preparing to move all marketing mass email to HubSpot, BUT I need to understand if this will harm sales: communications.

Right now, marketing email unsubscribes happen in MailChimp

  • If we migrate these mass emails to MailChimp, then when they unsubscribe from “everything” this will also BLOCK SALES one-to-one emails, correct?

Appreciate any thoughts on ensuring we don’t harm Sales’ ability to engage our market (K12, 100K known buyer contacts already in our database).

Hi @Jonno_Price, @danmoyle, @Mike_Eastwood - Do you have any tips you could share with @PCassin?

Thank you!

@PCassin unsubscribing from marketing emails, or even being marked as a “non-marketing contact” in HubSpot, does not prevent sales from sending 1:1 emails, not from enrolling a contact into a sequence. So in short, you’re safe.
