How can I specified the correct contact property to use for matching in OneSignal Integration settings?
In sending OneSignal notification, After selecting an App name. I can select method for matching HubSpot Contact to OneSignal device. So I can select “Match by OneSignal external_user_id”. I have existing property created in my contact property to match the external user id. However, I cannot find any help or guide for matching my created property to external_user_id.

While I don’t have this specific integration in my portal to test with, I do have a few questions to get us started on the troubleshooting path.
- Is this the guide you are following? Connect HubSpot and OneSignal
- If so, can you follow the below steps?
From the guide:
- In your HubSpot account, click the Marketplace icon
- Under Manage, select Connected apps
- Click OneSignal
- Click Contact Matching
- From the dropdown menu, select the HubSpot contact property you want to use for matching with the OneSignal external_user_id property
Can you get through those steps?
