Hello fellow content marketeers!
I’m currently working on a content planning for 2022. What is the best way to implement/manage the content planning in Hubspot?

Hi @AnoukS,
That’s a fantastic question! For social media scheduling, HubSpot has a social tool for scheduling and publishing posts on social networks. There’s also a handy bulk schedule feature which allows you to upload posts in bulk!
As for organizing day-to-day content marketing tasks, HubSpot has a marketing calendar that allows you to schedule out your work for the month!
I’ll add some fellow content marketers into our conversation to see how they are using HubSpot for content planning. @AnoukS would like to know how to use HubSpot to implement content planning. @Sam62 , @DavidDennison , @AndyAngRS - Which HubSpot tools do you use for content planning?
Hey @kvlschaefer thanks for mentioning.
The HubSpot tool that I like the most for content planning is its SEO tool.
If you have a marketing plan, you can simply navigate to Marketing > SEO and switch to the Topics tab. You can add different topics there, build a cluster around that topic by adding related keywords, check the difficulty and volume of the keywords and much more.
It helps you make your content organized.
The tools HS offers are pretty robust and will give you the basics of what you need in terms of planning. If you’re referring to content creation and curating, I would join a few Facebook groups that are focused on content. They often share useful calendars, tips, templates, etc. that could really help you in your planning.
Be careful with the bulk upload. It’s easy to get carried away with adding a bunch of stuff. If it’s not set up properly, you’ll find yourself adding a TON of stuff, and then later you’re like “dang I didn’t want all these.” Has happened to me a few times haha!
Did you have a specific question in particular?
Thanks for the tag @kvlschaefer
Hey @kvlschaefer , thanks for the shout out.
I am assuming that you had amplified your content in 2021 on your website and social channels.
In addition to what @Sam62 had shared, if your content requires form fill, I look at them to get an idea of the top 3 content that people are willing to fill a form to get to it.
Assuming you share your content on social, you could head down to the social section and see which are your top posts under the “Analyze” section.
All the best!
Thanks all! This is really helpful ![]()
