I am new to HubSpot and I am trying to create a custom module (HTML) but I want the text sections to be variables so non-programmers could edit the content easily when creating pages. Here is what I have inside my HTML module:

\<h1\> {{ module.title }} \</h1\>

But when I add this module to a template/page it says “This component has no editable fields”.

What am I missing?

Hi there!

On the right-hand sidebar you can add editable fields and then use the “copy snippet” feature to insert HubL for them into your code.

 ![moduleTitle.jpg](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/d/e/decabcaa56590c4d8884388c0bd05ba43d415a0d.jpeg)

Users will then be able to use the field options on the sidebar to update them.

I hope that helps!
