Hello HubSpot Community, I’m currently adjusting the layout of the left sidebar for my contacts. I’d like to ensure that it remains collapsed by default whenever I open a new contact, allowing for a cleaner appearance. Ideally, I’d like the ability to expand only the sections I need, while the rest remain collapsed. Is there a way to achieve this?

There currently aren’t any specific settings for this, no. You can hide entire sections with conditional rules but you can’t collapse them by default: Customize records

so the standard functionality in HubSpot
is to keep open/closed the tabs from one record to the other.
But there is no possibilities yet to set this up in any way.
When I navigate one contact and leave one section open and others closed, then swith to other contact
the section keep exactly as with the prior contact.
Try this out.
Maybe this 'd be a great idea for the product tem if you want to post this in the ideas forum.
