How to indicate a phone number is verified or good

Hi,

don’t know if anyone else encounters this problem but sometimes you have multiple phone numbers for a prospect and you’re not sure which one is good - You can create a phone verified field with a checkbox, but I noticed you can also put an emoji in the phone field (Windows- . [period]. Put a little smiley face by it - it doesn’t appear to interrupt the dialer.

Hello @frankwagman1 , just to ensure you are referring to a phone number field in a form or inside a contact record? The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.

Thank you,

Pam

This is the phone number field under contact. Apparently it can create an
emoji without interfering with the dial function.

Hello @frankwagman1, you are correct, I was able to add an emoji on the phone number field, but this did not interfere with me calling the number or gave me an error like you mentioned.

I was able to find this community post here if you are or work with a developer there may be able to create a validation field in a form. However, we are able to add a section for the country code drop-down menu and then set a minimum/maximum number of digits for the total number of digits. If the customer goes over or under this limit, a red error will appear.

I hope this information helps.

Kindly,

Pam

For example, if you want to say whether a number is verified, you can say:
The number is in a valid format and is active.

The number’s owner information has list to data been verified.

The number has not been reported as spam or scam.

The number can be used to call/message.

a section for the country code drop-down menu and then set a minimum/maximum number of digits for the total number of digits. If the customer goes over or under this limit, a red error will appear.
