How to get the best order on your company's to do list?

Hello,

Me and my friend is starting a new business and starting to realise the tasks for creating the company is really hard to keep control of.

How do you manage to keep your tasks and not forget about one when you have 100 different tasks on your to do list and 500 customer tasks?

Kind regards,

Oliver

Hi @OEhrenberg,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

I want to ask a couple of experts for advice to see how they stay on top of their to-do list: :slightly_smiling_face:

hi @fabianschmidt, @AnxiouslyEager, @A-Cardenas, do you have any tips you could share with us? Thanks!

Hey @OEhrenberg,

welcome to HubSpot! A quick question of understanding: Do you manage all your to-dos with your business partner in HubSpot? So now you want to prioritize them and know which of your tasks you should do first without forgetting any?

Or are you concerned with how you should basically manage your tasks - beyond HubSpot?

Best regards from Germany
Fabian

Hi @OEhrenberg!

Thank you @MiaSrebrnjak for the tag. From my perspective, if you are focused on the items within HubSpot’s ecosystem, you can use their native task management tool. The tool is best leveraged by sales or service team members, as tasks can be associated with Contacts or Companies within the CRM.

For general project/business management, I prefer to use a tool outside of HubSpot. Basecamp, Asana, Trello, or even Airtable are all great options. I’d recommend taking advantage of the free trials that these tools offer so that you can see which one is going to fit best for your personal work preferences and those of your business partner. Most of these tools also have templates that can get you started!

Hope this helps, feel free to respond back with any follow up questions :slightly_smiling_face:
