How to fill out a practicum without a business

I started taking HubSpot certifications as a way to boost my resume as a college student. I recently started the HubSpot Reporting class, but the end requires you to fill out a practicum with open-ended questions about your business data, how it’s organized, who can see it, etc. Trouble is, I don’t have my own business. I’m just using these certifications as an educational tool. How am I supposed to answer these practicum questions when I don’t have any real data to base my answers off of?

Kudos to you about being proactive to take your education and experience to the next level. HubSpot certifications are a great way to do that!

HubSpot won’t be looking for the validity of your answers to the practicum, moreso they’re looking to see how you respond to these by putting into practice the theories learned through the certification. I encourage you to answer based on a coming up with a hypothetical business and what you feel would be appropriate answers to these if you were working for or had your own company.

Give it your best shot! Best of luck!
