How to export Company Address with Contact Export

Hello all,

I have generated a list of “contacts” that I am exporting from my CRM. I am trying to narrow it down to a certain region for the export; however, the individuals don’t have addresses only the companies.

I had the idea to export the individuals with the addresses of the companies and THEN sort outside in Excel… but I am not able to get the company address when exporting the individual’s contact.

I can get the address when on the company page but my sorting field is only on the individual and not the company.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @JeremiahLandi,

The index page for contacts only shows contact properties, not company properties, correct. In contact lists, however, you can also filter for company properties: Create segments

When adding a filter, you can use this dropdown to filter for address information on the company record. HubSpot will then return all contacts associated to companies matching those criteria.

Best regards!

Hello,

1. I figured the best way to do this would be to add a column but…

2. Here is my screen, it doesn’t match yours.. what am I missing? I am here: Loading...

@JeremiahLandi please check the link I shared before, it explains list creation (vs a filtered contact view).

So the suggestion is to create a “list” instead of just adding a column to the existing contact screen. I get what you are laying down.

Let me mess around with it and see if I can mine the information a bit more.

Hi @JeremiahLandi,

To filter contacts based on the addresses of their associated companies in HubSpot, navigate to “Contacts” and select “Lists.” Click “Create List” and choose either “Active list” or “Static list.” Use the dropdown menu to add filters, select company properties, and apply relevant address filters (e.g., city, state). HubSpot will then return all contacts associated with companies matching the specified address criteria, allowing you to narrow down your contact list effectively.I have Attached the Screenshot, so you can take the reference.

Best regards

@JeremiahLandi my screen looks the same as yours; were you able to figure out how to get “company properties”?

Hey @LMarotz - thanks so much for posting in the Community!
Can you please confirm whether or not your were able to follow @karstenkoehler’s and @himanshurauthan’s accepted solutions, in which you would build out a list of Contacts and filter that information from within the list before exporting?
