I imported a spreadsheet of contacts with:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Unique ID
We’re using the Unique ID as an anoymised code to log into a system. it is just a 7 digit number.
I wanted to send out an email to each of the contacts with something like this…
Dear <firstname lastname)
Your Unique ID is <unique_id>.
Regards
Admin
Is this possible?
Hi @GCarey1,
Yes, you can use personalization tokens for your ID the same way as you would for first name and last name: Use personalization tokens
Best regards!
Thanks. but I don’t see anything on that page about a unique ID?
@GCarey1 the ID behaves exactly like any other contact property. If you imported the ID into a contact property, are you not seeing the property when following the steps? (You should. If you’re not, can you let me know where exactly you’re getting stuck?)
Sorry, but this is all new to me. What steps should I be following? As I mentioned I just imported from a spreadsheet. I can see the Unique ID in listed in the contact list, but I just want to be able share this ID as a field within the email that I send out to each person.

@GCarey1 did you review the link I shared at all? Use personalization tokens
Vielen Dank! That worked.
