How to distinguish between our Integration with EXO & outbound activity with a new business avenue

Hi i am new to HubSpot, and our sales rep hasnt been to clear on how to setup our 2 distinct lines of business (revenue streams)

Firstly, our HubSpot integration with EXO which syncs our Sales Orders to the HubSpot Deals page. This is the first revenue stream and doesnt require any outbound activity at all. It is consistent revenue and just requires Account management (managing relationships with companies)

Our second revenue stream requires proactive outbound methods with builders, architects etc to get our bathroom fixtures specified. This is a complete sales process from prospecting to initial engagement through to win/close deal.

What is the best way to clearly distingush and seperate these 2 revenue streams (note- different reps only focus on 1 or the other). As sales manager I require to pull reports showing these as seperate income streams but management require reports to show these as 1 revenue stream.

Hi @vaughan-salter, welcome to the HubSpot Community!

I would recommend using two separate deal pipelines for this.

The key reason is that these are two genuinely different sales processes. Your EXO Sales Orders don’t really go through a traditional sales cycle, while the second revenue stream has its own stages.

Having a separate pipeline for each would let you define stages that actually match each process and keep them clearly separated for the reps.

It also makes reporting straightforward. You can build reports filtered by pipeline to analyze each revenue stream separately, while management reports can include both pipelines to show the combined revenue.
