How to disconnect HubSpot from Facebook when HS account is dead

We had an old HS account which was connected to our Facebook to collect leads. The account lapsed and was deleted.
When we create a lead campaign on Facebook it gives the opportunity to connect it to our CRM. On clicking the button we see Hubspot is still connected.
We have gone to Business Manager --> Settings --> Accounts --> Apps, but it’s not there to disconnect.
I’ve asked HubSpot support, but it’s just the sales channel and they’v asked me to post here for support. Thanks.

Hey @Sausage

To disconnect HubSpot from Facebook when the HubSpot account is no longer active, follow these steps:

Log into Facebook:

Go to your Facebook account and log in.

Navigate to Business Integrations:

Look for the HubSpot integration in the list of active integrations.

Next to the HubSpot integration, click Remove.

In the dialog box, ensure the checkbox for Delete posts, videos, or events that HubSpot posted on your timeline is not selected. Click Remove. This should disconnect the old HubSpot account from your Facebook. For more information, refer to this article here: Facebook page not connecting to HubSpot

Hi @Sausage,

If your HubSpot account is deleted but you still see it connected in Facebook Business Manager, you can try the following steps to disconnect it:

  1. Remove HubSpot from Facebook Ads Manager:

    • Go to Facebook Business Manager.
    • Navigate to Business Settings.
    • Under Data Sources, select Ads Accounts.
    • Check if HubSpot is listed here and remove it if present.
  2. Check Facebook App Settings:

    • Go to Facebook Business Settings.
    • Under Accounts, select Apps.
    • Look for any HubSpot-related entries and remove them.
  3. Disconnect from Facebook Integration in HubSpot:

    • If possible, try logging into HubSpot and go to Marketing > Ads.
    • Check if there’s an option to disconnect Facebook here.

Do you have more recent guides? Neither of these flows are possible on my FB account. Thanks

Hi everyone,

I want to warn others to be very careful before integrating HubSpot with Meta Ads.

In my case, after connecting HubSpot with Meta Ads, I cannot fully remove it from Meta Lead Forms / CRM setup, even after disconnecting the integration on both sides.

What I have already tried:
- disconnected HubSpot from Facebook / Meta inside HubSpot,
- removed HubSpot Ads from Facebook Business Integrations,
- checked that HubSpot is no longer active in Facebook integrations,
- archived all existing lead forms,
- created new lead forms from scratch,
- connected and disconnected the integration again in different sequences,
- checked the Meta Business settings and lead form settings.

The result is still the same: HubSpot continues to appear in the lead form / CRM setup area.

At this point it behaves like a permanent leftover connection that cannot be removed through the normal interface. I have already spent a full day trying to fix this. The only “solution” that seems left is abandoning the business page, which is obviously not acceptable.

I am waiting for a response from Meta support, but I would also like to ask HubSpot support and the community:

1. Where exactly can HubSpot be fully removed from Meta Lead Forms and CRM setup?
2. Is there any hidden HubSpot-side connection that remains active after disconnecting Meta Ads?
3. Can HubSpot support manually remove this connection from the backend?
4. Has anyone solved this without creating a new Facebook business page?

Honestly, this experience is very frustrating. Once HubSpot is connected to Meta Ads, removing it completely seems almost impossible.

Any practical solution would be appreciated.

I’m afraid neither of these options seem possible. Are they old guides?
There’s no Ad Accounts option under Data Sources.
I can’t find Business Integrations
Do you have something more recent?
