Hi,
Even after the quote is signed, hs_status gives the “APPROVAL_NOT_NEEDED” value and the same status is received for the published quote as well.
How to differentiate whether the quote is published or signed as we want only signed quotes?
Thanks in Advance.
Hi @DivyaSachan
The hs_status property in HubSpot represents the status of a quote. Still, it doesn’t directly differentiate between signed and published quotes.
As you mentioned, even after a quote is signed, the hs_status might show “APPROVAL_NOT_NEEDED.”
To determine whether a quote is signed, you’ll need to look at other properties related to signatures - Use e-signatures with quotes (hubspot.com)
-
Check the Signature Status - Retrieve the specific quote details using the quote ID or any unique identifier you have, thin those details, examine the signature_status field. - If the signature_status indicates “signed,” you have a signed quote1.
-
Use e-Signatures - HubSpot allows you to include e-signature fields on quotes - When creating a quote, select the “Use signature” option on the Signature & Payment step of the quote builder - Once the quote is signed electronically, it will be marked as such.
Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
