Hello! I’m using our CRM to track contacts from many organizations whose email domain does not match the organization they are from. As such, Hubspot keeps creating new companies and automatically associating them with contacts. Even after I go to manually associate the contacts with the correct company and make it primary, it still shows two associations in the main contact list. I can’t remove the association by clicking on the contact page because it is not even displayed as an association there. I also can’t just delete the new company because when I click on the company in the contact list it says I don’t have permission to view the company. I’ve talked to my admin and I have all the same permissions as them, so I don’t know why I can’t see it. Lastly, when I click on “view associated companies” on the main contact list, the only company that shows is the company I manually associated, not the one Hubspot created. Does anyone know how to delete these automotically created companies or remove their associations for good? Thanks!

Based on the screenshot you have shared, this is a permissions issue - most likely your view permissions for company records are not set to “all companies”.
I recommend you or your portal admin to check out this article on user permissions.

Firstly, you might want to deactivate this setting: Automatically create and associate companies with contacts
Regarding the company record access, if you’re seeing this notice “Your permissions don’t give you access to view this record”, then you don’t have the permissions – and your admin overlooked something.
