How to create/get hubspotutk via API (Google Tag Manager Server Side)

Hi,

So I wam trying to integrate hubspot via Google Tag Manager Server Side, thus NOT loading the Hubspot JS that would place the hubspotutk cookie.

How can I create/get the hupspotutk for any new visitor to the site via the API?

Or do I just have to generate a bogus contact, get the id of said contact and then later update when they submit a form?

Hi @SearchHub

If you use Google Tag Manager to integrate the HubSpot Code it should have the exact same outcome.

If you can’t see the cookies (depending on your GTM Privacy Settings) then I would assume there’s an issue with the setup.

Use the Google Tag Assistant to check your setup (personally I use the legacy Chrome Extension).
