I would like to set up an email sequence for the contacts of 45 companies. Is there a way to do this from the company listing?

Yes, this can be done with lists: Create segments
When you add a filter in a list, the left sidebar will expand and you should see a ‘Filtering on’ dropdown that is set to Contacts. Change it to Company and you can access company properties and lists. After saving, HubSpot will populate the list with contacts associated to companies matching your defined criteria.

so you can enroll Contacts in bulk in a sequence from the Contact records listing
but Companies you can only enroll them in the Prospecting Agent that is going to use sequences but with AI.
You can also use lists to do this or even Automations.
