I am looking for an easy way to do a list which contains both contact and company properties.
I need to add more information such as the address, the account number, and more, as well as the Contact information (email, phone etc).
I can see I can use the Company properties for filters in my Contacts list, but I cannot add company properties in the Contact list other than the associated company name.
Is there an easy way to do this or do I really have to manually export a Contact list and a Company list and then combine in Excel? Seems strange now that Hubspot already knows the association.
This would require a custom report under Menu > Reports > Reports > Create report > Custom report builder. You would select Contacts and Companies as data sources.
Once you’re in the report builder, you can create a table visualization and drag and drop fields from Contact and Company into the table.
This report can then also be exported as a csv or xlsx file.
On the index pages (Menu > Contacts > Contacts / Companies), only properties from the corresponding object can be displayed.
So I am trying to do the same thing…create a simple report. HS keeps wanting me to do some kind of chart, which is stupid because I have almost 1000 companies, can’t show that stuff on a chart.
How do I make a report using the custom report builder that just gives me a list instead of trying to make me use some sort of image to show the data?

Which type of data/report are you looking at creating, please?
If you are using a custom report, you have an option of a “table” (see below) which will be showing the data with columns and rows, so a kind of list which might help you.
Otherwise, depending on what you are looking for, you could also create a company based list using company and associated contact properties ; or a contact based list using contact and associated company properties.

Its not possible to create the list with both the contact and company properties. When you select the contact properties it will only show the contact fields and same goes with the company property.
But there is another solution for this you can create a report by selecting contact and company object where you can add the fields according to your requirement and then you can export the requied report.
