How to correctly set up Analytics to avoid properties of being overwritten

Hi, dear community. Consider the following situation:

- On contact was created using a HubSpot API endpoint:

name: John Doe

email: john.doe@test.com

- After some days, Analystics updates my contact with the wrong data:

name: john.doe@test.com

Is there a way to set up Analytics to create contacts, but not update the existing ones?

Are you referring to preventing an API from overwriting the name or a specific source from overwriting the name? The more information you can include on the source that changes the name and screenshots, the more the community can assist.
