I would suggest checking out this knowledge base article: Format your data with workflows
You may need to create a custom formula for address issues. Your biggest challenge might be finding consistency in the formatting issues. For example, if you have 134K records and hundreds of completely different formats across those records with no patterns, it can be tricky.
