How to add a custom property to an entire list of contacts?

Hi.

I am currently in process of streamlining my database on HubSpot CRM. I want to know of a way where I am able to add a custom property (eg. offline source of lead) to an entire list of contacts at one go. Or do I have to add the same custom property to each and every contact?

You have a couple of options.

1) You can bulk change contacts using this procedure: How do I bulk edit contacts, companies, tasks, or deals?

2) You can upload the contacts with the new custom property set in the CSV file - you only need to upload a list containing the email address (for deduplication) and the custom property value.
