Hi community! I’m creating a HubSpot form to be integrated on our website; I’d like to add some specific new properties structured as multiple choice suitable for our purpose, but I need to set a rule to be sure the submitters can choose just one of the choices for each property. After testing, I noticed it’s possible to pick all the options. Any idea?
Hello @A-It
Thanks reaching out. Good question. You can create new property go the path: setting --> Left side (Data Management) --> Properties --> Click create property --> Follow screenshot
1) Create new property
2) References document link: Create and edit properties
Hi @A-It ,
It seems to me that the property you have currently is a multiple checkboxes and you need a Dropdown select instead. To get to this screen, you need to complete the steps from @ankitparmar09 's suggestion. This way, there are still multiple options to choose from, however, the system will allow only one to be chosen.
I hope that helps,
Eli
Hi!
To ensure that submitters can choose only one option for each multiple-choice property, you can set the “Allow multiple choices” option to “No” in your HubSpot form settings.
Here are the steps to do so:
- Login to your HubSpot account and navigate to your form.
- Click on the “Properties” tab.
- Click on the multiple-choice property you want to edit.
- Scroll down to the “Options” section and set “Allow multiple choices” to “No”.
- Click “Save” to apply the changes.
With this setting in place, users will only be able to select one option for each multiple-choice property.
