Hello!
Every 6 months to a year.
We’re just starting to use HubSpot so I’m not sure what will work best for us yet, but quarterly seems like a good goal to aim for.
Hello,
I am uncertain how frequently we clean our database at my workplace, but I believe it is twice every year. Nevertheless, I reckon it is an inevitable action for every business that deals with numerous contacts.
I believe cleaning the contacts database has to be part of the CRM routine for a company. This will help improve the campaign performance and shed light on future segmentation.
In my opinion, we should maintain a data signifying the “customer pulse” or the frequency at which a customer engages in our conversation such as newletters, e-mails, promotional offers, etc. If the contact is not responsive for 3 months, or has a very low engagement rate, say, less than 3 responses, they should be removed from the database.
We clean our data-base every 6 month
I think the answer very much depends on the amount of data that get created in HubSpot. And a process has to be established and made known to the team.
Hi! I believe that the database should be cleaned at least every six months. A up-to-date database is essential to provide the right customer actions.
Cleaning data is a well-known malady and if not done on a regular basis, becomes a daunting herculean task. Having experience in companies large and small, the bigger the database the bigger the mess. Smaller companies should be fine with good cleaning every six months. Large corporations, ideally, should have real-time automation cleaning the database on the fly according to pre-defined criteria. If that is not done, then a quarterly clean-out should suffice. The paradox is that the more you keep up scheduled preventive maintenance - the less you need it!
Hi, yes we do regularmaintenance and it’s ongoing.
We are in the process pf doing a major database cleanout and once complete, will continue to do it quarterly.
Keeping a clean database is a big pet peeve of mine. After all, your reporting and goal setting can only be as good as your data. If you don’t have reliable data it’s hard to know how you are really performing and whether the goals you set are realistic. I try to audit a little bit every day to try and make it more of a habit.
We are cleaning out quarterly.
It should be done monthly

I think quarterly is a good idea.. I am cleaning up data currently in my org and setting up an Erp so I see its importance.
Every fortnight
Quarterly is ideal, however, we clean our database annually.
Quarterly at least!
Hi, I believe that the contact database must be cleaned regularly in pre-decided time intervals so as to make sure that we are utilizing the resources in the best possible ways. This can ensure that the time and money efforts are utilized towards the right audience and thereby making higher conversion rates and saving our bucks.
