How has marketing automation changed your customer acquisition strategy?

I’m interested in learning how marketing automation has influenced your customer acquisition strategy over the past few years.

Have tools like HubSpot, automated email workflows, lead scoring, CRM integrations, AI-powered personalization, or chatbots helped you attract and convert more qualified leads? Or have you faced challenges such as maintaining personalization, improving lead quality, or measuring ROI?

I’d love to hear about your real-world experiences. What automation strategies have worked best for your business? Have you seen improvements in conversion rates, customer engagement, or sales efficiency? If you’re just getting started with marketing automation, what challenges are you trying to solve?

Looking forward to hearing your insights, best practices, and lessons learned from using marketing automation to grow your customer base.

Hi @TarunNagar,

Thank you for posting to the Community! From what I’ve seen, the biggest wins come from connecting HubSpot’s lead scoring to lifecycle stage transitions and using behavioral triggers in workflows instead of static lists. Data quality tends to be the silent blocker that holds automation back more than anything else.

Are you currently using HubSpot for your automation, and if so, where are you hitting friction?

Happy to help point you in the right direction. :orange_heart:

Hi @TarunNagar, For me, lead scoring paired with automated follow up sequences has made the biggest difference, it stopped good leads from sitting untouched and let low intent ones filter out on their own before wasting sales time.

The honest challenge has been keeping personalization from feeling templated once volume goes up, generic “hi {firstname}” automation is easy to spot and actually hurts trust more than it helps. What’s been the trickiest part for you so far, lead quality, measuring ROI, or something else?
