Your question cannot be covered in brief. But I’ll try to share the importance of SEO in a content marketing strategy..

A content marketing strategy is incomplete without SEO. In fact, both SEO and content go hand in hand.

You can create tons of content but without SEO, it won’t rank on search engines and your efforts will be wasted.

There’s a popular saying out there, “Content is king”. It surely is.

But SEO is equally important to get your content in front of the audience.

Thank you @kvlschaefer @Sam62 and @Jnix284 for the insightful replies. I still have a long way to go in terms of learning. Would you say SEO is more of an art than a science? From what I’ve read, it doesn’t seem to be as predictable as it used to be.

@hector1 I think technical SEO is very precise and more quantitative, whereas content SEO is not just about creating the right content, but also gaining authority through backlinks, etc. I suppose that can be somewhat of an art.
