How Do You Train Your AI?

1. Feeding them high-quality data 2. Constantly refining prompts 3. Using pre-built templates 4. I just wing it and hope for the best --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

Kind of #4, but I also pray and throw holy water at the computer! --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

#2 and then #4 (see what it gives you!) But really it’s just like when we were learning how to search on Google, you have to keep testing and improving the prompts. At least it’s better than what search used to be because it remembers what you asked previously instead of starting each new search fresh. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

All of the above! Joking aside, for deep work, I will use a combination of 1-3. IMHO, getting the most out of AI requires you to configure (train) it appropriately for your needs and desired style. I am constantly adjusting my settings (e.g., custom instructions), refining prompts, and experimenting with templates. If it’s something personal and/or non-critical, I may just wing it and take what I am given. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
