How do you actually use the Notes field in HubSpot?

How do you currently use the Notes field on contact records?

  • Do you write detailed summaries after calls/meetings, or just quick bullets?
  • Is there any kind of structure you follow (e.g., pain/next steps/owner), or is it mostly free‑form?
  • Be honest: how often do you actually log notes versus skipping it when you’re busy?

I’m trying to better understand real-world note-taking habits in HubSpot—especially what’s working for you and what feels like friction.

Hey @Sna919 - thanks for posting in the Community!
This is a great conversation starter. I’m wondering if you can elaborate on how you might already be using Notes in your personal portal. Are there any best-practices or standards you and your team currently follow? I want to ensure we get you insight that expands on how you’re currently utilizing Notes.

Would like to understand how Sales reps are using it today. Don’t want the question back to me :slightly_smiling_face:
