Hello - New to HubSpot, but trying to import or bulk assign an imported list to Lead Status: prospect - how is it done?
So far, see Deal IDs referred to, but is a Lead Status a Deal ID? What is the exact deal ID for Prospect, just the text ‘Prospect’ in a column labelled Deal ID? I’ve already imported the list, but can’t see how to bulk assign to a Lead Status or bulk edit lead status. Was thinking of re-importing with Deal ID, but not exactly sure what this is and if this is Lead categorisation or something else.

You can bulk edit records by following these steps: Bulk edit records
To easily access your imported records, navigate to Menu > Contacts > Contacts > Import. Scroll down, hover over the import and click View contacts / View companies / etc.
The record index page should open and you can then select all records and follow the instructions linked above.

Hi - Yes, I’ve seen this, Lead Status is not covered by this. Unless you’re saying Lead Status can be added to an import as a column of data?

Lead status is certainly an option for bulk editing on the contact record:
However, if you imported deals, you cannot update the contact’s Lead status from the deal page. If you want to add a Lead status property for deals, you would have to create a custom new property.
