Hello, I am trying to implement the google feedback loop for \*\*bleep\*\* tools here, [Feedback Loop - Gmail Help](https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6254652?hl=en), but I cannot find a place to create custom email headers in my email.

For clarification, I mean custom email headers like this [https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nu0YNZr](https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nu0YNZr)

Hey @robertsitalia

Currently, HubSpot has FBL configured for shared IP and we automatically configure them for[dedicated IP](https://www.hubspot.com/products/marketing/dedicated-ip) and the mail deliverability team is in charge of this process not directly the users. HubSpot uses a shared IP, which HubSpot’s email deliverability team works hard to maintain the best delivery ratings. This shared IP is used with all HubSpot portals.

The sender’s rating of a shared IP is largely determined by the behavior and delivery capability of the entire group.

With a [dedicated IP Address](https://www.hubspot.com/products/marketing/dedicated-ip), you can be assured that you have full ownership of the organization’s delivery capability. This dedicated IP is also managed by the email deliverability team, which will constantly monitor the IP address and domain to ensure that it maintains a high sender rating. If a problem arises, the mail deliverability team will resolve this situation.

I hope this helps

Best

Sharon

To clarify, you are saying FBL for google has been implemented? Or are you just talking about the capture of normal FBLs like yahoo and hotmail which send back individual spam complaints?

And if the Google FBL is configured by hubspot, what values get used for the parameters of the header?

Do you provide reports on spam complaints for non gmail based domains?

Hello @robertsitalia ,

Google does not offer a tradtional feedback loop the way that other ISPs like Yahoo and Outlook does. When implemented, Google’s feedback loop will inform an ESP about the volume of spam complaints repoted by Gmail users, but Google does not share individual spam compliant reports to protect the privacy of their users. HubSpot (nor any ESP) will not be able to provide you with reports on the individuals who may have reported a message sent by your brabd as spam, as this data is not shared for Gmail users individually.
HubSpot utalizes Google \*\*bleep\*\* Tools for agregate insight on the volume of spam complaints received by Gmail users. There is no action you need to take as a HubSpot customer. [You can learn more about Google’s non tradtional feedback loop here.](https://help.returnpath.com/hc/en-us/articles/220564607-Gmail-feedback-loop-FBL-overview)

Hey there,

Appreciate the reply.

You’re mostly correct, but Google does provide one additional layer of data through Postmaster tools in a feedback loop. By adding a custom header, Google can report if particular campaigns are driving the spam rates higher than others. This is helpful feedback that we would want to know as we’re sending out emails.

You can read more about implementation here [Feedback Loop - Gmail Help](https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6254652)

Implementation requires I be able to add a custom header. Given the responses I’m getting from here and support, I’m assuming Hubspot does not provide this functionality.

HubSpot does not support customizing the headers for sends from the marketing email tool, so it won’t be possible to implement Google’s offered feedback loop.
