I’m planning on using Hubspot to set up meetings with my contacts and while testing this I noticed the contact receives an email which shows meetings.hubspot.com.
I went into Settings > General > Calendar > Meetings and noticed I can select a custom domain however there is nothing showing here.
Note - I would not want to host my whole website etc on Hubspot and want to maintain that website with my existing hosting provider. it would just be a lot more professional looking if it did not show hubspot and instead my company name when the contact receiving the meeting in their calender.
the domain choices here are those connected to your HubSpot account, so if your website is hosted outside of HubSpot then you would have to connect a subdomain.
One thing I couldn’t test was whether setting up your Brand Domain would work (without breaking my existing configuration) - or if you had to fully connect the root domain, I would check this first to see if configuring the brand domain would work for meeting links as it doesn’t cause you to change the root domain.
- to create a personalized link you need to have a connect domain in HubSpot
- If you don’t want to connect your main domain > you can use a subdomain or secondary domain for your meetings links and sales activities…for example sales.yourcompany.com
