How do I add a company to an "existing" deal, not while making a "new" deal?

I made a bunch of deals but didn’t add a company association when doing so. When I go in to edit the deal, I don’t see how to add a company after-the-fact. Help if you can.

Over on the left hand side of the deal record display, you should have a company box with an +Add action:
