It’s been like that for as long as I can remember.
It sets border radius but the overflow is visible.
I always end up having to add this to all my themes:
.widget-type-linked_image {
overflow: hidden;
}

thanks for bringing this up again.
Can’t remember, when I used the default image module (or any other default one), as they tend to lack many features imo
Like accessibility (alt-text is not enough)
Hey @BarryGrennan,
Thanks for flagging this in the Community!
I’m cross-referencing the team internally to see what insight I might be able to uncover. I’ll keep you and @Anton posted accordingly.

Hey @BarryGrennan and @Anton,
It looks like this has already been reported internally. At this time, though, there doesn’t seem to be a committed roadmap to review this. If something changes, I’ll be sure to update this thread!

True.
It’s about once every 4 - 6 months a client will ask why the border radius isn’t working on the default image module. It’s a quick fix thankfully.
Thanks for keeping us updated Shane!
