Let’s say you have a website with products A, B, C.
You write about keywords and topics relevant to A, B, C
You set up topic clusters for A, B, C
You tage every single blog post with tags relevant to A, B, C
Now, I want to see basic inbound reporting such as count of lead, MQL, closed won, deal revenue associated, etc, but filter it all by the topic of the first page they saw, A, B, or C. So I can see how my topics did from a pipeline and revenue standpoint, so I might lean into more content about A, vs B or C.
The topic cluster report doesn’t break down by contact or deals, to show me what lead to $, etc. I would like to slice and dice the data we have associated with contacts, based on their first page being in topic A, B, or C.
How do others do this, to understand the ROI and value of content by keyword. And/or, how would you set up a workflow to identify a first page seen, and build a list based on the topic of that page? When I tried, I could not see a property for the blog page tag to pull into workflow branches, I couldn’t see one identifying the topic cluster the page was assigned to, etc.
another way to look at it might be: we have reports built off Asset Titles. How can I group those to see the same reports, but all asset titles grouped by product category, A, B, C, …n.
