I am sales assistant to several salespeople in my company. Part of my job is creating quotes in Hubspot with information provided by the salesperson and I want the salesperson’s name on the quote, not mine. (Or my name can be in addition to theirs.) Right now I have to edit and change the name, email, phone, and job title from my name to the salesperson’s info. for every quote I create. How do I use my account to prepare quotes for other users?
Hi @ADavis6,
I hope you’re having a fantastic day!
I was thinking that you might like to try this idea. You only need to create the templates once and then you can simply select them.
Please take a look at this quick tutorial: Create quote templates to automate the process.
I hope this helps,
Diana
Thank you, Diana. I started following the steps in your guide, but could only get to step 4. It appears that I don’t have the needed permissions to edit or create quote templates. when I get to the “quotes” page in data management, there is no “customize quote template.” Thanks again - if I hadn’t seen the guide you sent, I’d still be trying to figure out where the problem was!
FYI - the guide you made started in English, then switched to Spanish. Was wondering if you set it up that way or if the guide creator did it on its own.
Hi @ADavis6,
Thank you for your message. I’m glad I could help.
In that case, you would need admin permission as mentioned in this article: Create and use customized quote templates ![]()
On the other hand, thank you for pointing out the issue with English and Spanish. I will review why this is happening to improve it.
Have a great weekend! ![]()
Best regards,
Diana
