Hello, I am going to open my own business ,but please provide me with marketing methods for my products and suitable strategies.
Start by getting really clear on who your best-fit customer is and what actually pushes them to buy. Build out a basic buyer persona. What problem are they trying to solve, what language do they use to describe it, where do they go for information, and what objections usually stop them.
After that, I’d focus on having a plan and strategy vs. just doing a bunch of tactics. Tactical approaches can get you short term wins, but rarely will give you the same impact as a strategic approach.
If you’re just starting the business, there will be a TON you can do. As to not overwhelm you, these would be a few of my starting points. Others can chime in with their thoughts too:
- Learn about SEO and AEO. Create content that matches what your buyers are already searching and asking before they purchase (FAQs, comparisons, “best for…”, “how to choose…”).
- Understand content marketing. Focus on content that either answers real questions or builds trust (demos, customer stories, behind-the-scenes, results).
- Use AI, but don’t rely on it entirely. Generic AI content is not going to get traction. It’s great for brainstorming, outlining, first drafts, and editing, but make sure there’s a human in the loop and that what you publish is genuinely useful and specific to your audience.
- Spend time in HubSpot Academy. The courses on inbound marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and reporting will give you a solid foundation and help you avoid a lot of trial and error.
Best of luck with the business and welcome to the HubSpot Community.

Hi @ArwaAlmarii
First of all, congratulations on starting your own business, that’s a big step ![]()
Before jumping into marketing tactics, I’d suggest starting with clarity on three things:
- Who exactly are you selling to?
Try to define your ideal customer in detail — age, location, income level, buying behavior, and what problem your product solves for them. - What makes your product different?
If someone compares you with competitors, why should they choose you? Price, quality, convenience, uniqueness, service? - Where do your customers spend their time?
Are they active on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn? Do they search on Google before buying? This determines your marketing channel.
For someone just launching, I’d recommend keeping it simple:
- Start with social media content that educates or solves problems related to your product.
- Share behind-the-scenes content to build trust.
- Use short videos if possible — they build visibility faster.
- Collect emails from day one (even a simple Google Form works initially).
- Ask early customers for testimonials — social proof matters a lot.
If your budget allows, run small paid ads only after you’ve tested which content performs well organically.
Marketing is less about doing everything and more about doing a few things consistently.
If you’d like to share what type of product you’re planning to sell, I can give more specific suggestions.
Wishing you the best with your launch!

Hi @ArwaAlmarii
Of course, knowing your audience, your products or services, the problem you solve, and your solution is essential. I would recommend exploring the “StoryBrand” Framework and the “They Ask You Answer” Methodology.
As you start building your marketing assets (website, content, etc.), make sure you’re also thinking about how AI (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc) might play a role in helping potential clients find you and decide whether you’re the right solution to their problem.
If this is important to you, here’s a playbook that could help:
