I’ve been trying to test out a suggested email marketing strategy of leaving the preview test blank, as it’s said the email will stand out in an inbox. However, HubSpot automatically pulls undesirable text from the email body instead. I cannot access the HTML code in the email editor as the preview text is under settings, rather than the email builder, to utilize hacks like this.
Does HubSpot even have the capability to simply leave preview text blank?
I’ve already read through that thread and unfortunately, it did not help—part of my issue is I cannot access the HTML code in the email editor that relates to the preview text. The only code I can access is for parts of the email body, and I can’t find out anywhere how to view or change the code that would affect the preview text.
To leave the preview text blank and prevent it from pulling from the email body, insert a non-breaking space ( ) in the preview text field. This HTML entity serves as an invisible character, ensuring a clean and empty preview text in your email campaigns.
