Hey @AZaid

One thing that you should consider before putting out any piece of content is this: “Will I stop my scroll to watch this content if it was relevant to me?”, if the answer is ‘yes’, post it. But if you’re not quite sure, make your content ‘worth the pause’.

Hi @AZaid,

Spend the time to make a plan first. Ensure the content you plan to create aligns with the audience you’re trying to attract. And as @himanshurauthan mentioned, make sure it’s worth it for them to take the time to engage with the content. Typically I’d recommend to create a plan for at least a few weeks worth of content, if not a bit longer (a quarter at max). By doing this you’ll accomplish a couple of things.

  1. Ensure that your bigger content initiative as a whole can work together to support your efforts. Sporadic content across a bunch of different random topics doesn’t work as well as a content strategy that is aligned.
  2. This will also add some accountability. Put timelines around each content piece and hold yourself (or have someone else) accountable for completing it.

The other piece of advice I’d add is to understand which platforms you’ll be using to distribute your content. Repurpose every piece of content as much as you can across different platforms (Social, Email) without just making noise to make noise. Going back to @himanshurauthan’s comment, “will I stop”, make your messaging and content worthwhile for the audience.
Best of luck!

Thanks for the ping @BérangèreL

Welcome to the Community @AZaid. +1 to what @Josh and @himanshurauthan both offered. When I’m consulting with clients or others, here’s what I’ll talk through.

First, it’s not necessarily about more views, as much as it’s about the right viewers. Sure, more views is good at first glance, but if you get a million views and zero conversions, it’s a fail. However, if you get 100 views and 50 conversions, you’re in the marketing hall of fame. So I start with defining personas, and therefore audience. Here’s a basic roadmap I’d start with an iterate on as you grow.

Plan Audience-Focused Content: Develop a content plan that matches your target audience’s interests and pain points using HubSpot’s buyer persona tools. Create “worth the pause” content by asking if it would stop your scroll if relevant to you. Schedule posts via HubSpot’s content management for optimal times based on analytics.

Optimize with SEO Tools: Use HubSpot’s SEO recommendations to scan pages, improve keywords, meta descriptions, internal links, and readability in the content editor or Optimization tab. Build content clusters with pillar pages and supporting posts to establish topic authority and boost organic search traffic. Analyze performance metrics like views and search queries to refine future content.

Promote via Social Media: Connect social accounts in HubSpot to create, schedule, and publish posts across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and X from one composer. Add engaging captions, images/videos, hashtags, and @mentions; use AI for generation and target audiences for better reach. Track engagement and traffic back to your site in HubSpot reports to iterate. Don’t be afraid to put money behind your efforts as well, and use social media advertising.

Repurpose for More Reach: Turn high-performing content into new formats like social snippets, videos, or emails using HubSpot’s Content Remix or AI tools. Update older posts with fresh insights to revive views and extend value. Retarget website visitors with ads or pop-ups created in HubSpot to re-engage and drive repeat views.

I hope that helps!
