Hi all, we’re trying to submit our app for listing, but the automated reviewer keeps flagging an issue with our documentation that we already fixed. It seems like the reviewer might be checking a stale/cached version of our docs instead of the current one. This is blocking us from submitting our app listing. Has anyone else run into this, or know how to get the reviewer to re-scrape the latest docs? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi @composio, I hope that you are well!
Thanks for reaching out to the HubSpot Community and sorry for the delay in the response. Thanks also to @everett505 for your contribution.
It seems that the automated reviewer is indeed likely validating against a cached crawl of your documentation rather than the current version.
I wanted to start by checking if you are still experiencing the same, please?
If it is the case, I’d recommend working with your site administrator to add the HubSpot Crawler to your site’s allowlist before you submit your app listing. This helps ensure that the most up-to-date content is visible to the reviewer.
Once you’ve allowlisted the crawler, please go ahead and resubmit your listing so the system can re-crawl your docs. The resubmission process will trigger a new scan.
If you’re still having issues after allowlisting and resubmitting, you can reach out to the HubSpot Ecosystem Quality team. They’ll complete their review within 10 business days and can offer further support if needed.
Let us know how it goes and ask if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Bérangère
