We’re setting up various email sequences to different customer segments. But of course a lot of the 2000+ companies we have in Hubspot aren’t customers at all.
Many of them have domains that we’ve tagged as “Never Log” in Hubspot.
So it seems a good start would be to put all of the Companies that have domains tagged as “Never Log” into a category of Companies that aren’t ones we want to reach out to. So a property of “Not a Customer” associated to those Companies.
Is that possible in some simple way?
Hi @KBartus,
There is no way to link the ‘Never log’ with company records directly, no. You would indeed have to find a way to flag company records. You could do this
- via import (an excel file with two columns: company domain + custom property) or by
- bulk editing (create a company-based list, filter for domains, then bulk edit custom property for all those companies)
Keep in mind that consent in HubSpot is contact-based – tagging a company will not automatically remove a contact from a sequence or block them from entering a sequence. You would still have to make sure that contacts don’t end up in a sequence enrollment list, based on the company property you’re maintaining.
Best regards!
Boom! That was fast. Will try that right away!
