How Are You Using HubSpot's Leads Object in Your Workflow?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently diving into HubSpot’s Leads object as well as the prospecting and sales workspace. Since the Leads object has been around for a while, some of the earlier content from its beta phase is now outdated, and I’m eager to gather some real-world insights.

I’d love to hear from others on how you’re using the Leads object in your current workflows. For example, I really liked how Ryan Gunn described it as a “pre-Deal object,” and I’m curious if others see it this way too. Additionally, I came across the idea that the Leads object allows for multiple lead creation for a single contact, helping track ongoing sales opportunities over time—this seems really useful.

How are you incorporating it into your processes? How does it compare to using “lead stages” or creating deals directly? Is the workspace more beneficial than working within the Tasks index?

I’m looking to gather examples, stories, or even videos from those actively using it today, so I can provide better training and guidance to clients. Also, are there any limitations or features you wish the Leads object had?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions!

Thanks!

Regards
