We’ve been trying to set up WhatsApp notifications that trigger automatically when a HubSpot contact property changes — things like sending a WhatsApp message when a deal stage updates or a lead status changes.
Native HubSpot workflows support email and in-app notifications, but WhatsApp requires a separate integration. We ended up building a small free app to handle this (HubSpot Notify on the Marketplace), but I’m curious how others in the community are solving this:
1. Are you using a third-party tool like Make/Zapier to bridge HubSpot webhooks to WhatsApp?
2. Are you using a WhatsApp Business API provider directly?
3. Has anyone found a clean way to do this without extra middleware?
