Hi.
I have marketing pro and sales pro.
I want to have my landing pages and web versions of my emails to be on a subdomain, like pages.mysite.com/landing-page-slug.
When I do that, the invoices that I send through Hubspot payments try to also resolves to pages.mysite.com/invoicenonsenseurl and the invoice doesn’t load.
Is there any way to put hubspot content on a subdoamin of my wordpress site w/o breaking invoices?
Thanks
Hi @timkilroy ,
You may want to check the domain settings of your invoices. These are in Advanced Settings for your invoices.
Trevor - I don’t seem to have those advanced fields for invoices - thank you though
Hey @timkilroy
to set subdomains for emails/landings/blog/knowledge base
you can follow this steps
https://knowledge.hubspot.com/domains-and-urls/connect-a-domain-to-hubspot.
If you want to put HubSpot content outside HubSpot you need to use the API and API Keys
here is more info to see with a developer Authentication overview - HubSpot docs
Hope his helps
Thanks - checking that out now!
So, I do not think there is a way for me to do what I want to do…
Hi @timkilroy - Let me tag someone else who might be able to help. Any thoughts @Jnix284 or @danmoyle ?
happy to help @trevordjones and @timkilroy
To confirm, in HubSpot you have Landing Pages and Web versions of your email on a subdomain, let’s use subA.company.com
And your website is on a different subdmain in Wordpress, lets say www.company.com
There is no way for you to also have invoices on the www.company.com subdomain.
It would either have to be on the subA.company.com that you’re using for landing pages, or you can connect another subdomain like subB.company.com to use for invoices which can be set following the steps here
The same subdomain (or root domain) can’t be connected to both HubSpot or WordPress, but you can configure more than one subdomain for HubSpot to use whatever you were using before for Invoices.
