Hold Proposed Meeting Times Temporarily in Outlook Calendar When Using Sales Add-In

Currently, when using the HubSpot Sales Add-In for Outlook to propose meeting times via email, the recipient can book a meeting — but the proposed slots are not temporarily held or blocked in the sender’s Outlook calendar or in the scheduling link.

This can lead to confusion or double-bookings, as there’s no easy way to track which times were recently suggested to prospects.

It would greatly improve usability and the overall customer experience if the proposed times were tentatively held — for example, with a “soft block” — in the sender’s Outlook calendar until they expire, get booked, or are manually cleared.

That way, users can better manage availability and avoid conflicts without overbooking.
