# Hit ten\_secondly\_rolling limit

Hi, I’m developing an integration with Hubspot, I’m getting this error ten\_secondly\_rolling limit from the API.  
I’m creating Companies and Contacts in batch. When the error apeared, I had made only 5 batch calls, with 100 records per call. What I understand from the documentation, the limit is 100 calls for 10 seconds, and the number of records dosen’t matter. Right?

Coud you please help me to understand why I’m getting this error?  
Right now I’m using the API Key and not Oauth.

Hi @nraddatz

If you’re running into the `TEN_SECONDLY_ROLLING` limit, you should throttle the requests that your app is making to stay under that limit.
