Historical Snapshots in team currency, not only company currency

Problem:

Historical Snapshots reports currently display values only in the account’s company currency.

In multi-currency portals, this blocks accurate reporting when teams operate in different currencies (e.g., Sales team forecasts in GBP while company currency is USD). Support confirmed there’s no setting within Historical Snapshots to convert/report in another currency; the only options are changing the portal’s company currency (global impact) or exporting and converting outside HubSpot (manual and error-prone).

Use case (real example):

We use Historical Snapshots to track forecast over time. We need the report in team currency (GBP), similar to how Forecast tools can represent values for a team, but Historical Snapshots forces USD because that’s the portal company currency.

Why current workarounds aren’t acceptable:

  • Changing company currency affects the entire portal and all teams’ reporting (high risk / not viable for many orgs).
  • Export + convert in Excel/Sheets breaks automation, introduces exchange-rate inconsistencies, and adds recurring manual effort.

Requested feature:

Add a currency control to Historical Snapshots reporting, so users can choose the output currency.

Suggested implementation options:

  1. Report-level setting: “Display currency” dropdown (Company currency / Deal currency / Team currency / Select currency).
  2. Currency conversion mode: Use HubSpot’s stored exchange rates (or allow selecting a rate date policy: “as of close date”, “as of snapshot date”, “current rate”).
  3. Multi-currency display: Allow showing values grouped by currency, or a second column for “Converted amount in X”.

Acceptance criteria:

  • I can run a Historical Snapshots report where totals are displayed in GBP even when the portal company currency is USD.
  • The report clearly indicates the currency used and the conversion basis (rate/date) when conversion is applied.
  • Works for both Amount in company currency and Forecast amount-style reporting so snapshot trends are comparable over time.

Impact:

This would materially improve forecasting, RevOps reporting, and leadership visibility in multi-currency orgs, without forcing portal-wide currency changes or manual spreadsheet work.
